Job summary

Horiba Instruments in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to join our North American Semiconductor group. The role involves assembling and testing mechanical components in a cleanroom, using precision instrumentation, and validating product performance according to strict quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a technical certificate/AS degree and hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical principles, and basic schematics.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems is required.
• Electrical principles and assembly experience are essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office is expected.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components in a cleanroom environment.
• Utilize pressure, flow, calibration, and temperature instrumentation.
• Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and record data.
• Conduct verification testing to meet quality standards.
• Visually inspect flow restrictor assemblies and incoming material; sample as needed.
• Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
• Follow detailed instructions under the guidance of the manufacturing engineer.
