Job summary

HORIBA Instruments in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our North American Semiconductor group. You will apply gas and liquid fluid control knowledge and metrology to semiconductor production and to improve front and backend equipment processes.

Responsibilities include process improvement, project management, SOP development, and training of team members. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of manufacturing experience is required; we offer competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills; proficient with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Gas and Liquid state Fluid Control and Metrology used in semiconductor manufacture.
• Knowledge of equipment suppliers and flow control/metrology products for Front and Backend semiconductor equipment.
• Understanding of temperature, flow, and vacuum in semiconductor processes.
• Process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
• Improve manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present plans and coordinate deployment including training of team members.
• Assist production manager in improving production control, SOPs, safety, quality, and training.
• Knowledge of ISO and ISO-related standards.
• General knowledge of primary engineering design controls for transferring products from engineering to production.
