Job summary

SkyWater Technology in the United States (Florida) seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for our advanced packaging fab. You will refine SOPs, develop KPI reports, drive fab efficiency, and coordinate lot activities to meet on-time delivery.

You will apply data analytics to translate factory data into insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve OEE and cycle time, and maintain floor presence in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Foundation in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
• Experience collaborating across process modules to optimize flow.
• Proven analytical skills and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and publish SOPs for the manufacturing floor.
• Translate factory data into insights using analytics to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve OEE and cycle time.
• Assist capacity modeling and fab improvement initiatives.
• Support on-time delivery and monitor KPI performance.
• Create queries/reports to track factory KPIs across shifts.
• Maintain on-floor presence to resolve issues and constraints.
• Escort expedited lots and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in a cleanroom environment with full gowning.
