Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Shift Technician to help improve production flow, troubleshoot complex issues, and support data-driven decision making on the line.

As part of a safety- and quality-focused team, you will analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineers and departments to keep the line moving smoothly. This role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Typing speed >30 WPM and solid computer skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Samsung automation and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve factory bottlenecks using Samsung scheduling and reporting systems.
• Analyze manufacturing metrics (WPD, tool output, rundown).
• Identify bottlenecks and improve line movement and balance.
• Troubleshoot production roadblocks up to catalyst events.
• Communicate status updates to upper management and lead teams.
