Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking a Semiconductor I&C Field Supervisor to lead field crews on a major FAB project in Indiana or Philadelphia. The role covers cable tray, conduit, instrument installation, I/O checks, loop checks, and pre‑commissioning under Site/Field Construction management.

The candidate should have 7+ years in industrial/semiconductor electrical and I&C field construction, with FAB experience preferred, and be willing to relocate with visa sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• Technical training in a relevant field, or equivalent trade/field experience.
• 7+ years of industrial/semiconductor electrical and I&C field construction experience; FAB experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cable pulling, cable tray/conduit, termination, field instrumentation, I/O check, loop test, or pre-commissioning support.
• Ability to read and follow I&C and electrical drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, instrument lists, and installation details.
• Fluent in Korean; able to coordinate with Korean-speaking project teams and support basic field communication with English-speaking local crews with company support as needed
• Willing to relocate to Indiana or Philadelphia; able to obtain a U.S. work visa (company sponsorship provided)
• Semiconductor FAB experience, OSHA 10 / OSHA 30, and field installation verification experience preferred

Hanwha Convergence USA (HCU) is seeking a Semiconductor I&C Field Supervisor to lead field crews and support day-to-day execution of the assigned Electrical, Instrumentation & Control construction scope on a major semiconductor FAB project in Indiana or another major project site in Philadelphia, depending on assignment. The role provides hands‑on field supervision and essential semiconductor I&C execution support for cable tray, conduit, cable pulling, termination, field instrumentation, I/O check, loop check, and installation verification activities for FMCS / utility control systems, working under the Site Manager or Field Construction Manager together with local field resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Semiconductor I&C Field Execution & Small-Crew Supervision (60%)

• Lead or support daily execution of assigned semiconductor FAB E&I / I&C work, including cable tray / conduit, cable pulling, termination, field instrument installation, tagging, and verification
• Supervise small crews or work teams under the Site Manager or Field Construction Manager; communicate work instructions and monitor safe, productive field execution
• Check workface readiness, including drawings, materials, tools, access, safety permits, work sequence, and crew availability; report constraints promptly
• Read and follow I&C drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, installation details, and project specifications for assigned work areas
• Support I/O check, point‑to‑point check, loop check, punch‑list, and pre‑commissioning activities for assigned I&C work packages

Field Coordination & Installation Verification (25%)

• Provide field‑level coordination with client project teams, HCU technical support, QA/QC, Safety, and local crews for assigned work areas
• Verify correct installation of cable, tray / conduit, terminals, field devices, tags, and accessories against drawings, cable schedules, and instrument lists
• Identify installation issues, rework risks, material shortages, and field conflicts; report and elevate to the Field Construction Manager or Site Manager

Quality, Safety & Documentation (15%)

• Follow and enforce OSHA and project safety requirements at the workface; participate in or lead toolbox talks and JHAs for assigned crews
• Check field workmanship and installation quality before inspection, turnover, or punch‑list closure for assigned work areas
• Maintain daily notes, progress / quantity information, redline markups, punch items, and field records for assigned crews and work areas

Requirements:

• Technical training in a relevant field, or equivalent trade / field experience
• 7+ years of industrial / semiconductor electrical and I&C field construction experience; semiconductor FAB experience preferred
• Hands‑on experience with cable pulling, cable tray / conduit, termination, field instrumentation, I/O check, loop test, or pre‑commissioning support
• Ability to read and follow I&C and electrical drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, instrument lists, and installation details
• Experience leading or supporting small crews / work teams in E&I / I&C field execution preferred
• Fluent in Korean; able to coordinate with Korean‑speaking project teams and support basic field communication with English‑speaking local crews with company support as needed
• Willing to relocate to and be based at the project site in Indiana or Philadelphia, depending on assignment; able to obtain a U.S. work visa (company sponsorship provided)
• Semiconductor FAB experience, OSHA 10 / OSHA 30, and field installation verification experience preferred
