Job summary

Tietoevry Corp. in Dallas is seeking a hands-on Semiconductor Functional Safety Engineer to develop and validate safety documentation for automotive IPs, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

You will contribute to safety analyses, documentation, and product release readiness. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of semiconductor safety experience and hands-on FMEDA, DFA, safety requirements, and manuals, with collaboration across engineering teams and external assessors to achieve final

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of semiconductor functional safety experience.
Working knowledge of ISO 26262 / IEC 61508.
Hands-on experience with FMEDA, DFA, safety requirements, and safety manuals.
Experience in IC/SoC safety analysis and verification.

Responsibilities

Develop and review FMEDA, DFA, FMA, SAR, SRS, and Functional Safety Manuals.
Analyze safety requirements, IP failure modes, and requirements traceability.
Collaborate with engineering teams on safety analysis and verification.
Resolve technical findings and support functional safety assessments.
Work with external assessors to achieve final safety approval and product release.
