Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Field Service / Start-Up Engineer to support installation, startup, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, install parts, and perform upgrades while maintaining accurate service records and staying current with procedures. A strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills are essential, along with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field, with strong troubleshooting background.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 100% domestically to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Install and replace equipment parts and perform upgrades/modifications.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Coordinate with customers, peers, and supervisors to ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Train customer technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, tools, vehicles, and company property.
• Stay current on equipment, tools, procedures, and technical documentation through ongoing training.
• Maintain professional standards while working at customer sites.
