Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead a team of 10–15 technicians in a high-volume fab environment. You will drive production strategies and ensure safety, quality, and output while collaborating across the organization.

You will develop high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement, partnering with Product Operations, CAPA, and Fab Engineering to optimize WIP, reduce cycle times, and sustain strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2-year minimum experience in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers as well as during upper management presentations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic inventory analysis and line management initiatives to optimize WIP flow and on-time output.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives to elevate line efficiency and reduce cycle time.
• Deliver clear technical communications translating floor insights for leadership.
• Monitor high-priority production issues and escalate to ensure timely resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve WIP issues and capacity planning.
• Leverage automation and digital tools to monitor WIP and drive data-informed decisions.
• Lead and develop a team of 10–15 manufacturing personnel with coaching and performance reviews.
• Foster an inclusive, accountable environment and enable career growth across shifts.
• Communicate across all levels from shop floor to senior leadership for alignment.
