Job summary
ABM Industries is seeking an Exhaust Technician to join our PCS Team supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations in Taylor, TX. This hands-on role performs preventive maintenance on exhaust systems, pumps, chillers, and related equipment to keep critical production processes running.
You will inspect components, document readings, and follow safety and cleanroom protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, or related experience.
- Must be able to work onsite in Taylor, TX.
- Must meet all requirements for access to semiconductor manufacturing environments, including up to a 10-year work history.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, chillers, exhaust systems.
- Inspect and replace components including pumps, seals, and heater wraps.
- Conduct visual inspections of vacuum pump exhaust lines and related systems.
- Complete scheduled cleaning and maintenance on piping and exhaust systems.
- Document maintenance activities and readings accurately.
- Use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely.
- Identify potential equipment issues and report to leadership.
- Follow safety procedures and cleanroom protocols in semiconductor environments.
- Support equipment uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance.
