Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform equipment PM and recovery tasks on CVD and other toolsets in a fast-paced, high-volume fab environment. You will monitor process trends, document interruptions, and coordinate with the Process team to ensure proper disposition.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with Shift Supervisors and engineers to maintain top-quality production operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior work experience.
• Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience (or 2-5 years direct experience).
• Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
• 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working in high volume fabrication.
• AMAT Robot experience is a strong plus along with LFM set-up.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals.
• Work with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Correct and generate SOPs when required.
