Job summary

Onsemi EFK in East Fishkill, NY seeks skilled Equipment/Maintenance Technicians to sustain and run the fab floor, resolving equipment and process issues. These are shift roles with a compressed 12-hour week and a 24/7 operation.

The role requires a High School Degree, 2–4 years of experience, and fluent English (written & verbal). A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered; training and growth opportunities are provided in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High School Degree (or equivalent).
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry and Onsemi protocol/requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and qualify state-of-the-art 300 mm ION semiconductor equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and teach others how to do the same
• Respond to error messages of factory systems and equipment
• Review SPC charts and other indicators for process quality and react to out-of-control conditions
• Perform and teach visual inspections (quality checks)
• Recover from process and tool interruptions
• Identify and address areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost
• Complete required reporting and documentation
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement, learning, and skills development
• Work as part of a global team and train new team members as needed
• Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
