Job summary

onsemi EFK in East Fishkill, NY seeks skilled Equipment/Maintenance Technicians to sustain and run the 300mm fab floor, resolving equipment and process issues on a 12-hour shift in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will monitor state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, react to system alerts, and document activities while collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

2-4 years of relevant experience.
Fluency in English (written & verbal).
Travel – 0% to 10%.
Able to perform shift work on a 12-hour schedule in a cleanroom environment.
Able to wear cleanroom and safety clothing and lift up to 30 pounds during shift.

Responsibilities

Monitor, control, and qualify state-of-the-art 300 mm ION semiconductor equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and teach others how to perform it.
React to error messages of factory systems and equipment.
Review SPC charts and react to Out of Control conditions.
Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
Recover from process and tool interruptions and optimize tool availability.
Complete required reporting and documentation.
Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement and skill development.
Collaborate with a global team and train new members.
