Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Cleans TR lead to guide a high‑performing team of equipment engineers on the Leviathan team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of fab tools, drive cost reduction, and coordinate cross‑functional efforts with SEMES, Fab Engineering, and Maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering, 2+ years of leadership, and strong data-analysis skills with Python/VBA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years semiconductor equipment engineering.
• 2+ years direct supervisory or lead experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and qualifying fab tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, VBA) and data-analysis tools (Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, SQL).
• Strong grasp of statistical methods, Change-Point Management, and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 6-10 equipment engineers, providing coaching and growth plans.
• Foster a collaborative culture and champion Lean/TPS/6S practices.
• Oversee equipment lifecycle from qualification to decommission.
• Manage CPM activities, daily equipment status reviews, and qualification matrix updates.
• Review pass-downs, WIP, and work request queues each shift.
• Prioritize equipment repairs, parts orders, and qualification.
• Drive quality initiatives and cost/throughput improvements.
• Lead cross-functional TFTs on Stop-Loss and BM reduction.
• Own capital projects including cost justification, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Use Python, VBA, Spotfire, or JMP to analyze data and spot trends.
