Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Cleans TR leader to supervise a team of equipment engineers and drive day-to-day operations on the Leviathan team. You will coach engineers, champion Lean/TPS practices, and manage the lifecycle of fab tools while coordinating with SEMES and cross-functional groups.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering and 2+ years of leadership, with scripting and data-analysis skills to identify trends and implement cost/quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a technical field (engineering or CS).
• 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory or lead experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and qualification of fab tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, VBA) and data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 6-10 equipment engineers with coaching and reviews.
• Foster Lean/TPS/6S culture and continuous improvement.
• Oversee full equipment lifecycle from qualification to decommission.
• Manage Change-Point Management and daily status reviews.
• Lead cross-functional TFTs on cost/quality/throughput improvements.
• Use Python, VBA, Spotfire, or JMP to analyze data and drive adjustments.
• Own capital projects with cost, schedule, and budget tracking.
