Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Engineering Intern to support Equipment and Process Engineering at the Beaverton wafer fab. You’ll help solve day-to-day manufacturing issues and contribute to long-term improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualification is a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field; no prior experience required. The role offers exposure to robotics, PLCs, and mechanical/electrical systems, with about 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, or related field.
  • Strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing and engineering support.
  • No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, direct, and coordinate installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance of wet etch and solvent strip tools.
  • Analyze equipment availability and uptime metrics to develop improvement plans.
  • Write and edit equipment maintenance and repair specifications.
  • Design, prototype, and deploy equipment upgrades.
  • Develop training plans for technicians for tool maintenance and career development
