Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. in Albany, NY seeks an Engineering Technician to design, modify, assemble and test semiconductor reactor systems. You will work in a cleanroom, follow wiring and assembly procedures, and develop test methods from blueprints and diagrams.

You will also support product enhancements for Film Deposition tools, collect data for on-line adjustments and prepare technical reports summarizing findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
• Proficient with MS Office and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, procure, install and test modifications to improve reactor performance.
• Assemble electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components.
• Follow wiring, installation, soldering and harnessing procedures.
• Develop test specs from blueprints and diagrams.
• Support product enhancement of Film Deposition tools.
• Collect operating data and perform on-line product adjustments.
• Interface with external vendors and work in a team environment.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions.
• Handle contaminated parts with PPE during rebuilds.
