Position

Semiconductor Equipment Engineer – 1st shift (6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Thursday, plus every other Friday) on a 9/80 schedule. This role is responsible for supporting the lead equipment engineer in maintaining Photo Lithography and metrology tool sets including microscopes, ovens, various resist tracks, SEM, overlays, Mask Aligners, and more.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment, including electrical, electro‑mechanical, and gas systems typical of semiconductor manufacturing operations. Over time, responsibilities will expand to include additional equipment sets.

What You Will Do
  • Diagnose equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
  • Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
  • Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
  • Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
  • Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
  • Ability to pull and analyze tool data.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
  • Proficient use of MS Office products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD – 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
