Design Hire is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer in Houston, United States, to support advanced epitaxial growth, process improvement, and production readiness in a technical manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on MOCVD experience, ability to troubleshoot equipment, and collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to maintain uptime and drive quality across production runs.

Competenze

2+ years of semiconductor process engineering or related manufacturing experience.
Hands-on MOCVD experience required.
Experience with InP, GaAs, or related compound semiconductor materials.
Experience supporting production environments, process control, and technical problem solving.
Knowledge of vacuum and gas-flow systems and related equipment infrastructure.
Familiarity with toxic gas handling and MOCVD safety practices.
Ability to support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and process recovery.
