Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an experienced Project Manager (Tool Hookup Electrical) to lead electrical tool hookup projects on the production floor and sub-fab. You will mentor field personnel, coordinate contractors, and drive timely, safe electrical connections for tool sectors.

Responsibilities include field coordination, RFI/FCO review, schedule tracking, and ensuring compliance with NEC/NFPA 70E and cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of project management or field engineering in large-scale industrial electrical construction.
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience with construction or tool install activities in a semiconductor cleanroom.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required; CCM or CAPM/PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary field contact for electrical trade contractors and resolve immediate constraints on the cleanroom floor.
• Coordinate handoffs between facility infrastructure teams and tool installation crews to maintain progress.
• Monitor and report schedule milestones, manpower, and material installation rates.
• Review RFIs and FCOs, validate field conditions before escalation.
• Enforce construction safety standards, cleanroom protocol, and lockout/tagout sequences.
