Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Project Manager (Tool Hookup Electrical) Lead to oversee electrical tool hookup projects on the production floor. You will mentor field engineers, coordinate with trade contractors, and ensure LV power distribution and control hookups are installed safely and on schedule.

Using 3D models to resolve routing, you'll verify field conditions, review RFIs/FCOs, and enforce strict cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in PM or field engineering in large-scale industrial electrical construction.
• Minimum 2 years in semiconductor cleanroom tool installation activities.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification; CCM or CAPM/PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary field contact for electrical trade contractors on the cleanroom floor.
• Coordinate handoffs between facility infrastructure teams and tool installation crews.
• Monitor and report schedule milestones, manpower, and material installation rates.
• Review RFIs and FCOs, validate field conditions before escalation.
• Walk the field daily to enforce safety and cleanroom protocol compliance.
