Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in San Jose seeks a core technical contributor to design and validate the on-chip controller and mixed-signal circuitry in NAND Flash devices, driving architecture development, system integration and full-chip validation planning and execution.

You will work on RTL design and implementation of the controller hardware, perform synthesis and timing closure, and develop firmware for NAND internal operations, collaborating with design teams domestically and overseas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Verilog and ASIC design workflows.
• Experience with RTL design, synthesis and timing closure.
• Familiarity with CAD tools used for design and verification.
• Knowledge of NAND/NVM design principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl).

Responsibilities

• Design and validate on-chip controller and mixed-signal circuitry for NAND Flash.
• Architectural development and product definition; system integration and full-chip validation planning/execution.
• RTL design/implementation; synthesis, APR and timing closure; firmware development for NAND operations.
• Collaborate with design teams domestically and overseas on multiple projects.
