Job summary

Teledyne Qioptiq in Exton, PA is seeking an Assembly Technician to support precision assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, this role is for you.

You will assemble discrete semiconductor packages, dispense encapsulant and cure products, and load/unload fixtures while using advanced equipment. This hands-on position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, PPE compliance, and steady hands for small components.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE including respirators (required).
• Steady hands for tiny components and experience using microscopes and tweezers (required).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (required).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency (advantage).
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and terminology (advantage).
• Experience in semiconductor packaging or soldering (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Assemble discrete and multichip semiconductor packages.
• Dispense encapsulant and cure products.
• Load and unload assembly fixtures and operate complex manufacturing equipment (e.g., vacuum reflow furnaces, laser marking systems, dicing saws, pick-and-place machines).
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions for assembly processes.
