Job summary

Teledyne Qioptiq is seeking an Assembly Technician in Exton, PA to support precision assembly operations for semiconductor packages in a high-reliability environment.

You will load/unload fixtures, operate specialized equipment, and maintain clean, safe work areas while following detailed procedures. Candidates should have steady hands, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with microscopes and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE including respirators
• Steady hands for placement of small components and use of microscopes/tweezers
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency (advantage)
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components (advantage)
• Experience in semiconductor packaging or soldering (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Assemble discrete and multichip semiconductor packages
• Dispense encapsulant and cure products
• Load and unload assembly fixtures and operate complex manufacturing equipment
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions for assembly processes
