Qualifications

• Three years plus soldering/assembly experience.
• Capable of soldering/desoldering of surface‑mounted devices and through‑hole components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with use of hand tools.
• Experience with PC board assembly.
• Hand soldering skills for small PCB‑based assemblies.
• Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Must read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Knowledge of components and basic ESD handling.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Soldering, wire and cable assemblies; perform assembly operations.
• Maintain and operate soldering equipment.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks.
• Use hand tools for mechanical fabrication and assembly.
• Work from work orders, drawings to assemble electro‑mechanical components.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement for safety, quality, efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist in resolving production issues.
• Document work using word processors and spreadsheets.
• Mark components for inventory tracking.
• Wire systems and cabinets using electrical schematics with minimal supervision.
• Prepare components for installation, form leads, pre‑conditioning wires.
• Operate microscopes, scales, gauges, and crimping equipment.
