Job summary

Empire National México is seeking experienced CDL Class A Owner-Operators for 1099 independent contractor roles. You will operate a semi truck with dispatch support, receive 90% of the gross load, and enjoy fast direct deposit weekly settlements.

Optional trailer rental is available and a $100 DOT inspection bonus is offered. Minimum requirements include a valid Class A CDL, a valid Medical Card, at least 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience, and a clean MVR/PSP.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Minimum 23 years old.
• Smartphone with data and ability to provide high-quality documentation/photos.
• Reasonably clean MVR and PSP.
• No major violations within the last 36 months.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must not be prohibited in the DOT Clearinghouse.
• Negative drug test required.
• No recent or major convictions on criminal background check.
• Reefer equipment must generally be 10 years old or newer.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an Owner-Operator with a semi truck under a 1099 contract.
• Provide high-quality documentation/photos when required.
• Secure and manage loads as dispatched by the company.
• Maintain equipment and comply with DOT requirements as an independent contractor.

Compensation & Fees

Owner-Operators are compensated as independent contractors (1099). A 10% dispatch fee applies after the first 6 months.

Optional Trailer Rental

Dry Van

• 10% of gross load.
• Minimum $800.
• Maximum $1,300.

Reefer

• $1,500/month.
• Plus reefer-hour and mileage charges as applicable.

A refundable security deposit is required. Additional deductions may apply depending on equipment, insurance, permits, tolls, trailer rental and optional services.
