Job summary

Empire National México is seeking experienced CDL Class A Owner-Operators for independent contractor work (1099). Pay is 90% of the gross rate with fast direct deposit and weekly settlements.

Requirements include valid CDL, medical card, 2 years verifiable CDL experience, 23 years old, smartphone for documentation, clean MVR/PSP, no DUI in 5 years, negative drug test, and reefer equipment ideally 10 years old or newer. Optional trailer rental available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card.
• At least 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Minimum 23 years old.
• Valid smartphone with data for documentation/photos.
• Reasonably clean MVR and PSP.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must not be prohibited in the DOT Clearinghouse.
• Negative drug test required.
• Reefer equipment generally 10 years old or newer.
• No recent or major convictions on criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor.
• Deliver loads with dry van or reefer equipment.
• Maintain compliance with DOT and safety requirements.
• Provide required documentation/photos for loads.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid Medical Card.

• No major violations within the last 36 months.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.

• Reefer equipment must generally be 10 years old or newer.

Compensation & Fees

Owner-Operators are compensated as independent contractors (1099). A 10% dispatch fee applies after the first 6 months.

Optional Trailer Rental

Dry Van

• 10% of gross load.
• Minimum $800.
• Maximum $1,300.

Reefer

• $1,500/month.
• Plus reefer-hour and mileage charges as applicable.

A refundable security deposit is required. Additional deductions may apply depending on equipment, insurance, permits, tolls, trailer rental and optional services.
