Job summary
Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a skilled Semi-Trailer Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of semi-trailers.
The ideal candidate will have experience with trailer systems, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Your duties include performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and other trailer types, as well as repairing brakes, suspension
Qualifications
- Experience inspecting and repairing various trailer types.
- Knowledge of brake, suspension, air, electrical, and structural systems.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug tests.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and other trailer types.
- Repair brakes, suspension systems, wheel ends, lighting, electrical systems, doors, roofs, and trailer structures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair air systems and trailer-related mechanical issues.
- Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
