Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on all trailers and related equipment.

This role requires solid knowledge of mechanical tools, service and diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures, with strong attention to detail and customer service skills. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical experience.
• ASE certifications highly desired but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment knowledge/skill test, background check, and drug/medical exam.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write in English for documentation and communication.
• Must have own tools and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, analyze, and diagnose trailers and related equipment for mechanical issues and faulty parts.
• Perform repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on trailers and related equipment.
• Complete trailer body work and undercarriage repairs.
• Develop and document action plans for all repairs; follow checklists and protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace with proper care of tools.
• Follow health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with coworkers and support team goals; work independently when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
