Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate in The Colony, TX. The role supports loading/unloading, stocking floor products, and building product displays in a fast-paced team environment.

The position offers a night shift from 9:30pm to 6:30am, with weekends off, a pay range of $20.14–$24.47 per hour plus a $4 shift differential, and strong benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years semi-tractor/trailer experience.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours.
• Must meet DOT CDL policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle tractor and trailers to prevent damage.
• Keep full and empty trailers segregated; prepare daily listings.
• Plan receiving schedules and determine unloading sequence; locate PO numbers.
• Check all trailers are locked when in the lot.

Pay Range: $20.14 - 24.47 Hourly PLUS $4 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

The scheduled hours for the role are Monday through Friday from 9:30pm-6:30am, with Saturday and Sunday OFF!

NFM’s warehouse is a fast-paced, team environment where we load and unload product, assemble and inspect customer deliveries, stock product on the sales floor, build inspirational product displays and perform reverse logistics. NFM’s warehouse is a fast-paced, team environment where the tagging team works diligently to receive product into inventory. If you have an eye for details, we want you!

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Safety Handling tractor and trailers so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Manage Keep full and empty trailers segregated - Preparing a listing of all full and empty trailers daily
• Plan Obtain receiving schedule from all warehouses, open trailers to determine unloading sequence and to look for PO numbers or packing lists and move trailer at specific times
• Monitor Check all trailers in lot to make sure they are locked

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma/G.E.D.
• 3 years semi-tractor/trailer
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs
• Must meet and/or comply with applicable standards set forth in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
• Must meet hiring requirements documented in DOT CDL Policy
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen, motor vehicle and criminal background checks
