Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor II to coordinate with staff to perform ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping. This role also oversees supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and on the sales floor.

The scheduled hours are 12:30-9:30pm with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. The pay range is $57,566 - $71,382 annually, with full‑time benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years’ warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
• Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily.
• Plan monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
• Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules.
• Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors.
• Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed.
