Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in The Colony, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II to coordinate order fulfillment, receiving, storing, and shipping. You will lead staff, manage resources, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You'll oversee scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback, while maintaining cost controls and meeting delivery goals. This role offers strong development opportunities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficient PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or early mornings.
• Pre-employment screening will include background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of products to meet customer needs.
• Coach, train, hire and support staff; provide feedback and recognize performance.
• Plan agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses and turnover.
• Ensure attendance policy is followed for trainings.
• Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and correct unsafe behaviors.
• Perform duties of supervised staff to meet deadlines when short staffed.

Pay Range: $57,565.73 - 71,381.50 annually

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

NFM’s Warehouse Supervisor II will coordinate with staff to accomplish ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping. This person will also be responsible for supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and/or sales floor.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Monitor: Understand workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs
• Manage: Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily
• Plan: Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals
• Punctuality: Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules
• Safety: Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors
• Teamwork: Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed
