Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking a Machine Operator to safely handle and transport products within our Cedar Park warehouse. The role involves operating scanner equipment, locating and moving stock, and ensuring accurate binning and reporting of any issues.

Requirements include at least 1 year of warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in high places or night shifts as needed. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Scan equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product.
• Safely handle and move product and follow material handling safety practices.
• Locate and return-to-stock, received goods and transferred product to appropriate areas.
• Report driver load exceptions and ensure products are picked and binned.
• Monitor daily progress and report discrepancies or roadblocks to supervisor.

Pay Range: $18.58 - 23.13 hourly

Do you consider yourself a hands-on person? Have you operated a picker, tow-tractor, pole lift, squeeze, or pallet jack? Do you enjoy taking yourself to new heights…literally! If so, our Machine Operator could be the perfect fit for you. You will safely handle and transport our product within our warehouse.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Operate Scan equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product
• Safety Handle product in a safe and secure manner and observe material handling safety practices
• Accuracy Locate and return-to-stock, received goods and transferred product into appropriate areas
• Report Conduct driver load exception reports ensuring all products have been picked and binned for accountable processes
• Monitor Track daily progress and immediately report discrepancies, errors or potential roadblocks to supervisor

Hiring Process

Our hiring process includes an Interview Day designed to help candidates learn more about NFM while allowing us to get to know you better. Please note interview location is in Round Rock, but the Work location will be in Cedar Park, TX 78613.
