Job description

Responsible for the accurate moving, locating, relocating and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power‑operated equipment.

Major Areas of Performance

• Safe and efficient operation of all power‑operated equipment that requires certification.
• Safe and efficient movement of the product, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift.
• Label and prepare items for shipment.
• Work with Inventory Control on correct product placement.
• Complete required paperwork and project time‑tracking documentation.
• Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items.
• Ensure all items not required short term are restocked according to established procedures.
• Update Warehouse Management System with transaction.
• Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure.
• Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick‑ups and deliveries.
• Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories.
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns.
• Participate in process improvement by communicating with the supervisor and/or the team lead.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions (ISO standards where applicable).
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30‑day period required.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team‑lift environment.
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time; ability to handle heights.
