Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Semi-Skilled Automotive Technician for River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Lansing, IL. You will perform vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards and help build customer trust by ensuring safety and reliability.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, automotive training or experience, and a valid in-state driver’s license. The role offers paid training, certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a skilled automotive technician.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust system.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace Radiators.
• Perform Manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable.

Located at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, the Automotive Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for their vehicle safety and reliability.
