River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a Semi-Skilled Automotive Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role emphasizes building customer loyalty by ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.

The position offers a pay range of $20.00-$26.00 per flat rate hour, with incentive-based pay tied to performance. Benefits include training opportunities, tool allowances, and career advancement within a large dealership group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a skilled automotive technician.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust system.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace Radiators.
• Perform Manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training or experience as a skilled automotive technician
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
