Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring for a CDL-A driver position in Calhoun, LA. The role involves operating equipment, loading and unloading, and instructing customers on safe operation while ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• You are customer-oriented; you will instruct customers on the safe and proper operation of the equipment, complete paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• You are a team-player maintaining communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Are you bilingual in Spanish? That’s a plus!
• Safety oriented, you make safety a top priority maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
• Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)
