Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring for a local driving role in Krum, TX. The position requires a Class A CDL with a DOT medical card and tanker endorsement. Expect weekly pay and overtime as needed.

Uniforms are provided and uniforms are cleaned for free, with safety glasses provided at no cost. This is a local driving role with opportunities to haul heavy equipment and work overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with DOT medical card and tanker endorsement.
• 2+ years experience hauling heavy construction equipment on flatbed preferred.
• Experience driving/hauling equipment and communicating with customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heavy equipment from the truck.
• Haul equipment, machinery, or cargo on flatbed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Know local routes and navigation; be able to tell Google Maps how to get from A to B.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30AM-5PM, overtime based on business need.

• Minimum 2 year experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must have an unrestricted, class A CDL and DOT medical card, as well as Tanker endorsement.
• Experience hauling equipment, machinery, or other cargo on flatbed.
• Must be willing to load and unload heavy equipment from truck.
• Be able to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally. Are you bi-lingual? That’s a plus!
• Know your metro! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings, or at least be able to tell Google to get you from point A to B.
