Job summary

LEGO Group is seeking a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support line leaders with change overs, inspections, and proactive safety/quality actions. You will operate box former/closer or case packer equipment, move materials to the line, and ensure timely, high-quality output.

You will troubleshoot issues, maintain clean work areas, follow SOPs, and contribute to a reliable production flow while collaborating with maintenance and engineering.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanics.
• 1-2 years of experience as machine operator on high speed lines with box former/closer and case packer.
• Good communication skills with peers and leaders.
• Good Math skills, able to read a tape measure and convert fractions/decimals.
• Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with manufacturing computers (Easy HMI, faults/alarms).
• Experience with minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Must lift/pull/push 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Maintenance experience and Syntegon box former/closer/case packer familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and demonstrate leadership on Safety and Quality.
• Comply with safety requirements and standards.
• Keep machines and work area clean and in good condition.
• Operate, change over and fine-tune production equipment.
• Operate box former/closer/case packer per SOP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow quality standards to ensure high-quality output.
• Contribute to line flow and coordinate with maintenance/engineering.
• Meet standard hourly production targets.
• Support AM, 5S, quality checks and audits.
• Propose improvements in safety, quality and operations.
• Maintain LEGO values in communication with peers.
• Attend regularly and work 2-2-3 pattern with overtime as needed.
