Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia is hiring a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support line leaders on a high-speed packing line. You will perform changeovers, quality inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient, safe production of LEGO pieces.

The role requires strong math skills, reading a tape measure, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts run 7:00am–7:00pm on a 2-2-3 pattern with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanics.
• 1-2 years of experience operating box former/box closer/case packer machines on high-speed lines.
• Good communication and math skills; ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more pieces of production equipment, including box former/closer and case packer.
• Perform changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning per SOP.
• Proactively detect safety/quality issues and escalate to line leaders.
• Maintain clean and safe working area before, during, and after shifts.
• Support line operations with autonomous maintenance, 5S, and line releases.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime.
