Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia is seeking a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support line leaders with changeovers, inspections, and quality checks. The role involves moving raw materials to the line, operating box former/closer and case packer equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will troubleshoot faults, read tape measures, perform basic maintenance, and work in a 2-2-3 rotation with overtime as needed. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanics required.
• Experience as a machine operator on high-speed lines preferred.
• Cardboard processing machinery experience is a plus.
• Strong math, measurement reading and fraction/decimal conversion.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults and alarms in manufacturing.
• Comfort with basic maintenance and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support line leaders with changeovers and quality checks.
• Operate box former/closer and case packer equipment.
• Keep machines and work area clean and safe.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to maintenance when needed.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to line efficiency.
• Participate in safety, 5S and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with peers and maintain LEGO values.
