Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant for a rapidly expanding provision in Epping. You will work with students who have SEMH needs, Autism, trauma-related difficulties, and behavioural challenges, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them engage with learning and develop essential life and social skills.

Qualifications

• A graduate with a UK university degree.
• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs (voluntary or paid).
• Strong emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability.
• Commitment from September 2026 until July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
• Support students with SEMH, Autism, trauma-related difficulties, and behavioural issues.
• Assist teachers across a range of subjects and activities.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and personal growth.
