Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of needs at a Harwich school. You will provide 1:1 and small group assistance across both primary and secondary classes, helping with communication, regulation and engagement.

The role starts ASAP, is full-time and long-term with potential for a permanent position, and offers ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Able to work across primary and secondary age groups.
• Willing to support personal care when needed.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
