Job summary

Storage Star Management LLC is seeking a Self Storage Store Manager to be the face of our brand, delivering outstanding service while overseeing daily operations, rentals, payments, security, and maintenance at the Chesapeake facility.

You will lead a friendly team, meet sales goals, provide training, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers. This full-time role offers a monthly bonus, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow with a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service and sales experience.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily tasks.
• A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and walk the facility at least twice daily.
• Comfort with light maintenance and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of Storage Star Management, assisting customers in person and over the phone.
• Manage daily operations: renting units, processing payments, ensuring security and cleanliness.
• Meet company and site sales goals while providing outstanding service.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning to keep the facility in top shape.
• Conduct daily lock checks to meet security standards.
• Assist with training new hires and onboarding processes.
• Occasional off-site errands and travel to other locations as needed.
