Job summary

Public Storage is seeking Property Managers who work independently at multiple locations, balancing inside duties with outdoor responsibilities.

You will assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies, and perform daily inspections of storage units to ensure inventory and availability for rent. You will also handle cash drawers, deposits, and assist customers with payments, including reminder and collection calls when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or service-based companies.
• Ability to travel between locations with a valid driver's license and own vehicle (mileage reimbursement available).
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work outdoors up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and propose solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability for rental.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Help customers stay current with payments, including reminder and collection calls when required.
• Work independently at multiple locations and balance indoor and outdoor duties.
