Job summary

Storage Star Management LLC in Coventry, RI is seeking a Self Storage Store Manager to be the face of our growing team, overseeing daily operations, renting units, processing payments, and maintaining a secure, clean facility.

You will provide outstanding customer service, help hit sales goals, assist with training new hires, and handle occasional off-site errands. This is a daytime, on-site role with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service and sales experience.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily tasks.
• A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and walk the facility.
• Comfort with lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of the company, assisting customers in person and over the phone.
• Manage daily operations, including renting units, processing payments, and ensuring the facility is secure and well-maintained.
• Meet company and site sales goals while providing outstanding service.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the facility in top shape.
• Conduct daily lock checks to ensure security and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with training new hires and help them acclimate to processes.
• Handle occasional off-site errands and travel to other locations as needed.

Work Schedule:

Shifts varies weekly, 5 days a week, hours are:

• Monday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

No late nights or early mornings!
