Job summary

Universal Storage Group owns UC Storage and seeks an attentive Store Manager to lead daily operations in Union City, CA. You will oversee rentals, payments, and customer service, while coordinating marketing and maintenance to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Open Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am–6:00pm; full-time position with competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within a dynamic, growing company.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Background check completed
• Drug screen completed
• Attitude and Aptitude Testing

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the facility with a smile and handshake
• Help customers determine the best unit size before rental
• Complete all rental paperwork accurately
• Perform scheduled facility walk-throughs and lock checks
• Post daily receipts and payments
• Track and follow up on past due accounts
• Maintain customer records including payments and notes
• Conduct daily bank deposits and post receipts
• Monthly marketing activities (calls, visits, emails, social posts, events)
• Maintain merchandise for customer purchases
• Clean vacant units to rentable condition
• Ensure clean and presentable offices, grounds, and bathrooms
• Prepare auction units per procedure and lien laws
• Fulfill other duties as needed
