Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to operate across multiple sites with independence and hands-on involvement. The role involves assessing customer storage needs, suggesting packing supplies, inspecting units, and handling daily cash and deposits.

You will also assist customers with payments and collections as needed. The position offers flexible, full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm), mileage reimbursement, and potential bonuses after meeting performance

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful candidates come from customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Transportation: Must have a valid Driver’s license and use own vehicle to travel between locations and conduct business (mileage reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Our Property Managers get to work independently at multiple locations; spending time both inside and outside.
• We assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business.
• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
