Job summary

Public Storage in Texas is seeking Property Managers who operate independently across multiple locations, with tasks both inside facilities and outdoors. You will assess customer storage needs, offer appropriate packing and moving supplies, and ensure spaces are ready to rent.

You will perform daily inspections, manage cash drawers, deposits, and customer payments, and travel between sites using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or service industries.
• Physical ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle with mileage reimbursement available.
• Willingness to work outdoors up to 50% of the time and perform cleaning/daily maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability for rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Help keep customers current with payments and perform reminder and collection calls when required.
