Job summary

Citizen Storage Management is hiring an Assistant Property Manager – Self Storage in Detroit, MI. This part-time role offers $16.00–$17.00 per hour plus a monthly performance bonus. You’ll greet customers, process rentals, take payments, and help keep the facility organized and secure.

The position requires weekend availability, basic computer/phone/email use, and the ability to work on-site. A route to full-time or store management exists for motivated team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, service, or call center.
• Comfort using a computer, phone and email; training on company software provided.
• Availability for weekend shifts including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-ins and answer calls; help customers choose the right unit.
• Complete rentals, take payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Walk the property daily; inspect units, flag maintenance, keep office clean.
• Follow up on past-due accounts and apply policies respectfully.
• Support occupancy goals and local marketing; relay customer feedback.
• Coordinate with vendors and report facility issues promptly.
