Cross Country Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Tempe and Phoenix, AZ area. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a self-contained classroom.

You will assess student needs, develop and monitor IEPs, and track progress to adjust outcomes. Collaboration with families and service providers is essential to support student growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Arizona Special Education Cross-Categorical Teacher Certification or equivalent.
• Current NCI and CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learners.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained special education classroom.
• Assess student needs, develop and monitor IEPs, adjust instruction based on progress.
• Implement behavioral strategies and crisis-intervention techniques as needed.
